The project required the supply of all labour, material and equipment required to carry out the construction of the CN Autoport Compound, Triple Crown pavement replacement. The working included the removal and disposal off site of jersey barriers, light poles, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement etc., and the relocation of existing jersey barriers. The work also included the supply and placement of temporary sedimentation and erosion control measures, the protection of existing infrastructure and the construction of designed grades, slopes and ditches.
The project also included the excavation of all types of materials and the off-site disposal of all unsuitable and surplus materials to the required depth and the draining and maintaining of the excavation systems. Work also included the supply, placement and compaction of approved granular materials as backfill, subbase and base, the supply and placement of storm sewers, drainage structures and associated works, and the supply and placement of hot mix asphalt .
Lastly, the project included the placement of chainlink fences and gates, included barbed wire and the supply and placement of painted traffic lines and marking.
- Managing of multiple operations running simultaneously and within close proximity to each other and to the live train traffic
- Coordination with CN Rail on a daily basis to ensure project fluidity and the maintenance of normal operations
